Join us in hosting a family fun ice skating event and tribute in honor of MLK Jr. This is a fun and meaningful day to volunteer. Your time will involve interaction with children and the public, helping to lead games and activities both on and off the ice. Not all volunteers will need to know how to skate.

Test your skills and strategy tactics with an ancient tile-based game of Chinese origin, while engaging in a bit of friendly competition. Similar to rummy and poker, this four-player game can be played by all ages and skill levels. $2 for Non-Members, Free for Members

In 1994, Congress designated the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday as a national day of service. Each year, on the third Monday in January, the MLK Day of Service is observed as a "day on, not a day off." MLK Day of Service is intended to empower individuals, strengthen communities, bridge barriers, create solutions to social problems, and move us closer to Dr. King's vision of a "Beloved Community." #MLKDay Help us improve these wetlands and create habitat for turtles. Meet at the Barton Dam parking lot off Huron River Drive (map).Please dress in layers and wear shoes suitable for snow or wet ground.  All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.

All fitness levels and abilities of those 15 years and older, are welcome to unite, dance, and be yourself during this fun group dance experience that nurtures the mind, body, and soul. GROOVE® is a simple, fun, and creative dance workout. Just simple moves and rhythms done YOUR own way! The dance floor has evolved, so come join the movement. No dance experience required. This class meets for 10 weeks every Monday from 6 -7 p.m. Register for the entire 10-course series for $80 or drop in and pay $12 for Non-Members or $10 for Members.
