9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Bridge Barometer Game

There’s a NEW game in town!

ACBL BAROMETER GAME!

Join fellow bridge players for a fun morning of educational bridge play with Bridge Director and Emerald Life Master, Debra Eaves. The Barometer game consists of 12 boards to play.  All tables play the same board at the same time.  Upon completion of each hand, the cards are placed face up on the table (double dummy style) with a brief (5 minute) lesson/discussion. ACBL masterpoints are awarded (60% of full game awards).

Want to improve your game? Know someone who would like to get back into bridge?  This is the perfect opportunity.  No partner necessary.  We will find you one!

Ann Arbor Senior Center
9:30 AM - 11:30 AM Short Term Rental Public meeting
Whether for sports, entertainment, the vibrant downtown or lush parks, Ann Arbor is a destination for many. Some visitors stay at short-term rental properties, booked through companies such as AirBnB and VRBO. The City of Ann Arbor is considering policies to regulate short-term rental properties. In order to create policies appropriate for Ann Arbor, the city is holding three public meetings at Ann Arbor District Library (AADL) locations to gather input from residents. The meeting agenda will include examples from other communities and options for Ann Arbor. Light refreshments will be available. Children are welcome.

AAATA bus routes 5 and 24. If you have questions, please contact Brett Lenart of City of Ann Arbor Planning Services at 734.794.6265 or planning@a2gov.org. More information is available at www.a2gov.org/departments/planning/Pages/Short-Term-Rentals.aspx.
