In response to concerns about the noise generated by trains passing through Ann Arbor, City staff have engaged a consultant and will hold a Quiet Zone public information meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018 in the City Council chambers located in Larcom City Hall, 301 E. Huron St. in Ann Arbor. The meeting will include:

  • Overview of Federal Railroad Administration Quiet Zone Program
  • AARR Corridor Grade Crossing Observations
  • Next Steps
  • Questions from public
