At this gathering, you will have an opportunity to:

Learn more about the work of the Task Force.
Offer thoughts on what would make a successful Commons area.
Sign-up to stay updated on the activities of the Center of the City Task Force.

Background
Last November, voters approved Proposal A to amend the City Charter, which states that City-owned land within what is known as the Library Block, “shall be retained in public ownership, in perpetuity, and developed as an urban central park and civic center commons known as the 'Center of the City.” Since then, City Council formed the citizen led Center of the City Task Force to help determine the future of this area. The Task Force is now seeking community input to help with this determination.

The City of Ann Arbor will hold Public Meeting No. 4 to discuss and share information regarding the preferred alternative that was selected at the last public meeting. The meeting will discuss in additional depth and scope the preferred alternative, as well as information regarding the expected project schedule, construction impacts, and other related information. All are welcome to attend this meeting on Wednesday, November 6th from 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria Annex at Pioneer High School (601 W Stadium Blvd).
