All Day Presidents Day - City Offices Closed | Trash/Recycling Collections Continue Without Interruption
Ann Arbor's municipal offices, including the customer service center at Larcom City Hall and the 15th Judicial District Court, will be closed in observation of Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 18, 2019. Ann Arbor's trash and recycling curbside collection programs will provide services without interruption on the holiday Monday and throughout the week. Safety services and utility operations will maintain 24-hour schedules throughout. Several opportunities are planned with Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation. 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Stewardship Workday- Presidents's Day

Spend your day off volunteering to help wildlife! A wet meadow lies on the border of Leslie Park and Black Pond Woods, but it is threatened by invasive shrubs. Clearing shrubs from this wetland will benefit both frogs and butterflies. Meet at the parking lot at the end of Leslie Park Circle, off Dhu Varren Road. Please dress in layers and wear shoes suitable for snow or wet ground.  All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.
