6:15 PM - 8:15 PM Traffic Calming - Scio Church Service Drive (S. Seventh to Chaucer) Meeting #1

 

 Meeting #1- Thursday, February 21 from 6:15 – 8:15 p.m. at to Dicken Elementary School (2135 Runnymede Blvd), Multipurpose Room, 

This orientation will focus on the Scio Church Service Drive project area and an overview of the Traffic Calming Program. Neighbors will be asked to identify areas of concern or opportunity along the project area. Staff will share ideas, developed by professional engineers, intended to address project area conditions and community feedback (responses received from the initial questionnaire can be found at  a2gov.org/trafficcalming). Staff will review feedback from Meeting #1 and prepare a draft plan that will be posted to a2gov.org/trafficcalming within 5 business days following the meeting; paper copies available upon request.


 

Note: Meetings may be subject to cancellation based on extreme weather conditions consistent with Ann Arbor Public Schools Inclement Weather determinations. In case of cancellation this meeting will be rescheduled to Thursday, February 28 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Larcom City Hall, 301 E. Huron St., Basement Conference Room

7:00 PM Public Meeting: Universal Access/Site Improvements at Argo Canoe Livery

The City of Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation is holding a public meeting to discuss universal access and site improvements to the Argo Canoe Livery. Learn about and give feedback on preliminary design concepts for improving ADA accessibility at the livery. Site improvements will also include managing stormwater runoff. The City is interested in pursuing grant funding and would like to hear from the public on this proposal.
