4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Comprehensive Water/Wastewater Cost of Service & Rate Design Study - Advisory Group Meeting

The purpose of this Advisory Committee is to engage the community in a discussion regarding the City’s water and wastewater financial needs and make recommendations on proposed changes to the City’s rate structure. The result of these discussions will provide guidance for the Consultant to complete a comprehensive plan including information sufficient to support recommendations to the City Council regarding the City’s water and wastewater cost of service recovery.

The first meeting will be held July 11, 2017 at 4 p.m. at the Water Treatment Plant (919 Sunset Rd).

5:30 PM - 7:30 PM Recreational Kayak 1 Class
$35/person/one session course, ages 13 and up preregistration required. A kayak class will get you off to a great start on your river adventures. Learn basic strokes, techniques and safety before heading out to explore Gallup Pond with an instructor. We provide all of the equipment; and recreational kayaks are stable and easy to paddle, so all will feel more confident on the water.
