9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Stewardship Workday

Olson Park has it all - a playground, a dog park, soccer fields, and trails that wind through the woodlands and prairies. Take a walk on these trails and you’re sure to see plenty of butterflies and birds. Join us to remove invasive species from the prairie to preserve the native habitat. Meet at the park entrance on Dhu Varren Road, just east of Pontiac Trail (map). Please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes. All participants must complete a release form, and all minors should be accompanied by a guardian. Tools, snacks, and know-how provided.

9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Bridge Barometer Game

There’s a NEW game in town!

Join fellow bridge players for a fun morning of educational bridge play with Bridge Director and Emerald Life Master, Debra Eaves. The Barometer game consists of 12 boards to play.  All tables play the same board at the same time.  Upon completion of each hand, the cards are placed face up on the table (double dummy style) with a brief (5 minute) lesson/discussion. ACBL masterpoints are awarded (60% of full game awards).

Want to improve your game? Know someone who would like to get back into bridge?  This is the perfect opportunity.  No partner necessary.  We will find you one!
